ChangesmadetothelocalCoEdirectoryoftheEtherCATslavesarelostwiththeoldde
viceincaseofexchange.IfadeviceisreplacedwithanewBeckhoffdevice,itwillhavethe
defaultsettings.ItisthereforeadvisabletolinkallchangesintheCoElistofanEtherCAT
slavewiththeStartuplistoftheslave,whichisprocessedwhenevertheEtherCATfieldbus
isstarted.InthiswayareplacementEtherCATslavecanautomaticallybeparameterized
withthespecificationsoftheuser.
IfEtherCATslavesareusedwhichareunabletostorelocalCoEvaluespermanently,the
Startuplistmustbeused.
Thestartuplistisusedforthesecases:thevalueshere,whichareenteredbytheuser,aretransmittedto
therespectiveslaveuponeachEtherCATstatetransition/start.Astartupentryconsistsof
Time:thestatetransitioninwhichthecommandissent
